Aston Villa may look to add to their left-back ranks and in midfield in the coming transfer windows, according to reliable reporter Gregg Evans.

And, as to be expected, a number of Villa fans have been reacting to the news on social media.

Villa brought in five signings over the summer at a cost of £89.84m, one of which was at left-back in 36-year-old Ashley Young. Lange didn’t add to Dean Smith’s central midfield ranks, though, with Juventus’ Weston McKennie a late summer target.

Evans shared a story on The Athletic on Tuesday, looking at sporting director Johan Lange. Within the report, he claimed that several young left-backs are under consideration and the midfield may be addressed in the windows ahead.

O volante Jean recebeu em sua casa no Rio de Janeiro a reportagem do LANCE!. Ele entrará em campo às 20h desta segunda-feira diante do Atlético-PR em mais uma partida do Vasco no Campeonato Brasileiro. E entrou na zoeira. Lembrou fatos marcantes da infância, quando tocava o terror no colégio em Brasília. Com o futebol na veia desde pequeno, ele destacou que era um bom aluno, mas aprontava.

– No colégio eu era um bom aluno. Meu pai e minha mãe exigiam muito que eu tirasse notas boas. Eu era aquele bagunceiro que tirava notas boas, tocava o terror, não tinha jeito (risos). Falava ‘hoje vou ficar comportado’. Começava no meio da sala, chegava mais para o fundo, daqui a pouco eu estava no fundão tacando bolinha nos outros, eu era terrível (risos) – disse antes de completar:

– Quando eu era pequeno, meus tios, minha vó, meu vô, ficavam loucos comigo, eu não parava em casa. Meu apelido era marimbondo, ia de um lado para o outro. A minha infância foi muito alegre. Até trabalhei de cama elástica, pula-pula como monitor, algodão doce, fazia pipoca, servia para as crianças em festas, assim… Tive uma infância muito boa, soube conciliar a escola com um trabalho entre aspas e o futebol. Sempre gostava muito da rua, golzinho.

E no elenco é o responsável por tacar o terror? Quem é a vítima?

– Zoamos muito o Manga, o Gilberto. Temos um grupo no WhatsApp e os moleques ficam colocando ‘você não tem nada para fazer na sua vida não?’ (risos) Pego a foto de um, acho um cara na televisão parecido, faço montagem e toco o terror (risos). Martin Silva fica em off… Você zoa ele e você só vê o sinal de visualização (risos). Quando consigo um sorriso dele eu ganho meu dia. Sabe como eu sou, é muita resenha. O clima do Vasco é muito bom. Tem muitos apelidos, não dá para revelar agora não (risos).

Everton slumped to their second consecutive defeat in the Premier League after they were thrashed 5-2 by Watford at Goodison Park.

It seemed as though it was going to be an easy afternoon’s work for the Toffees after Tom Davies’ third-minute strike gave them an early lead, but the visitors equalised through Josh King just 10 minutes later.

Former Hornets striker Richarlison then restored Everton’s lead after coming off the bench for Rafa Benitez’s charges ahead again, although their joy was short-lived once more. Juraj Kucka’s header drew Watford level late on before King then struck twice inside six minutes to complete his hat-trick, with Emmanuel Dennis putting the seal on an incredible comeback victory.

It was the Norwegian who stole the show as he fired Claudio Ranieri’s side to a much-needed three points, yet several Everton players were hugely disappointing throughout the 90 minutes.

Although goalkeeper Jordan Pickford conceded five goals in a humbling defeat for the England international, it was arguably midfielder Allan who put in the most underwhelming display among the home side.

As per SofaScore, the Brazil international received a match rating of just six out of 10, the second-lowest rating awarded to anyone on the pitch.

When taking a closer look at his underlying numbers, it’s easy to understand why he was rated so low. Allan was dribbled past a whopping five times by an opposition player, won only three of his 11 duels (73% lost) and had a passing accuracy of just 77%.

With Abdoulaye Doucoure out injured, the 30-year-old was the most senior player in Benitez’s engine room, but he let his manager down with a hugely below-par showing this afternoon.

Both Allan and Benitez will be hoping for a much-improved performance against Wolves next time out, especially as Everton’s injury list shows no sign of diminishing for several weeks.

وأشار إلى أن باريس سان جيرمان ونابولي في مُحادثات مُتقدمة للغاية مؤكدًا أن سيتم الانتهاء من الصفقة قريبًا، حيث تواصل المستشار الرياضي للنادي الباريسي لويس كامبوس مع مسؤولي نابولي.

رويز والذي ينتهي تعاقده مع نابولي في صيف عام 2023، كان هدفًا لـ ريال مدريد وبرشلونة، والنادي الملكي كان يُفضل انتظار الصيف العام القادم من أجل التعاقد معه بالمجان.

Jean é o atual líder em desarmes no Campeonato Brasileiro (possui 54 tentativas certas até o início da 17ª rodada) e ao lado do lateral-direito Gilberto (segundo que mais desarmou até agora, com 52), foram uma dupla sertaneja bastante entrosada, como ele próprio brinca, em prol dos objetivos do Vasco na temporada. علق طارق سليمان، مدرب حراس مرمى الأهلي السابق، على تراجع مستوى محمد الشناوي حارس مرمى المارد الأحمر، مُشيرًا إلى أن خريطة هذا المركز في مصر تغيرت خلال الفترة الحالية.

وقال طارق سليمان في تصريحات لبرنامج “الريمونتادا” على قناة “المحور”: “مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تؤثر بشكل كبير في التركيز على الأخطاء، وهو ما لا يحدث في الخارج، وهذا سبب تراجع مستوى حراسة المرمى في مصر”.

وأضاف: “مصر تملك العديد من حراس المرمى والمدربين المميزين، خريطة الحراس تغيرت بعد مشاركة عواد مع الزمالك وعودة أحمد الشناوي لحراسة مرمى بيراميدز مرة أخرى”.

وأوضح: “هناك العديد من الأهداف التي يستقبلها الفرق من أخطاء لاعبي خط الوسط والدفاع، ومع ذلك يتم مهاجمة حارس المرمى بعد المباراة، وهو أمر خاطئ”.

وعن تراجع مستوى محمد الشناوي حارس مرمى الأهلي، علق مدربه السابق: “رصيد الشناوي كبير للغاية لما قدمه مع الأهلي خلال الخمس سنوات الأخيرة، وساهم في تحقيق العديد من البطولات والإنجازات مع الفريق”.

وواصل: “الشناوي أخطأ في مباراة الزمالك، ولكن هناك العديد من الأهداف التي يستقلبها الحارس ليست خطأؤه من الأساس، هدفا بيراميدز في الأهلي ليسا خطأ الشناوي، وعصبية الحارس خلال تلك المباراة طبيعية بسبب الضغط الواقع على الفريق بعد الخسارة أمام الفريق السماوي في ظل المنافسة على الدوري”.

وأردف: الشناوي كان ممتازًا في الموسم الماضي وأيضا الأهلي كذلك، أما الفريق في الموسم الحالي لا يتخطى تقييمه 5 من 10، وهو ما أثر أيضا على أداء الحارس، لكن الهجوم على الشناوي (بقى لبانة في بوق الجماهير)”.

واختتم: “الضغط الجماهيري هو السمة الأبرز في العمل بالنادي الأهلي، لا يوجد احتفالات ببطولة داخل الفريق، بسبب التركيز على حصد البطولة التي تليها؛ لذا فأطالب الجماهير بالصبر والهدوء في تقييم اللاعبين والهجوم عليهم عقب التعثرات”.

Geeves, who is in South Africa with Australia’s one-day squad, was also honoured with the David Boon Medal as the state’s Sheffield Shield Player of the Year.Geeves was the Tigers’ leading Sheffield Shield wicket taker this season with 37 at 23.86 and he also had a breakthrough summer with the bat. Visakhapatnam is the only new venue for the second season of the IPL, according to a tentative schedule released by the league. Rajasthan Royals, the defending champions, were expected to play a few games in Ahmedabad, but all its matches have been slotted for Jaipur, which will also host the inaugural game of the season. The tournament, which runs from April 10 to May 24, will have total of 59 matches played over 45 days.Besides the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Deccan Chargers will host two games at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The six other franchises will play all their matches in one city: Bangalore Royal Challengers in Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils in Delhi, Kings XI Punjab in Mohali, Kolkata Knight Riders in Kolkata, Mumbai Indians in Mumbai and Chennai Super Kings in Chennai.Delhi Daredevils, semi-finalists last year, will play the opening fixture against Rajasthan. “Jaipur has always been close to my heart and I promise the people of Jaipur an opening ceremony the likes of which has not been witnessed in India ever before with some truly world-class entertainment,” IPL chairman Lalit Modi said.The itinerary released, though, does not reveal the grounds at which the games will be held. Although the final is to be held in Mumbai, a decision made by defending champions Rajasthan, there is uncertainty over the ground where the game will be played. They had picked the Brabourne Stadium; however, the constitution of the Cricket Club of India (CCI), the ground’s owners, does not permit non-members’ seating in the pavilion, something the IPL wants desperately. Rajasthan could probably host the game at the DY Patil Stadium, which hosted the final last year.
