كشفت صحيفة “جارديان” البريطانية، أن حارس المرمى الإسباني، ديفيد دي خيا، على وشك اتخاذ قرار صادم في مسيرته الكروية.

ويعد دي خيا وكيلًا حرًا بعد نهاية عقده مع مانشستر يونايتد الإنجليزي، في نهاية شهر يونيو الماضي.

ومنذ ذلك الحين وطوال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية، لم يتلقٍ دي خيا عرضًا مناسبًا له، ويظل بلا نادٍ حتى الآن.

وفقًا لجيمي جاكسون من صحيفة “جارديان”، من الممكن أن يعتزل حارس المرمى الإسباني ديفيد دي خيا كرة القدم.

ويوضح التقرير أن دي خيا يمكن أن يتخذ هذا القرار إذا لم يتلق عرضًا ليصبح حارس المرمى الأول في نادٍ كبير.

South Africa fast bowler Vernon Philander believes the key to succeeding in Sri Lankan conditions lies in picking up wickets while the ball is still new. Philander, on his first Test tour of Sri Lanka, feels that seam bowlers can fetch wickets in spin-friendly surfaces by maintaining a simple off-stump line and making the batsmen play.”The more damage you can do with the new ball the better,” Philander said on Monday in Galle two days before the first Test. “You want batsmen five, six and seven batting against a newish nut. In these conditions you want to be striking with the new ball, our lines upfront need to get the batsmen to play.”I wouldn’t really say that lengths change, its more the line of attack. You need to sit on that off-stump line, and make sure you get the lbw into the game, the wider ball becomes the nick-off. Hopefully we can adjust really quickly and assess conditions accordingly.”Philander said he had recovered from the viral infection that ruled him out of the third ODI in Hambantota on Saturday. If he makes the starting XI, it will be his first Test in the subcontinent. Since his Test debut in 2011, Philander has played the majority of his 23 Tests at home in South Africa and toured England, Australia and New Zealand. He played two Tests in the UAE last year – his first Test series in Asia – where he picked up six wickets in two games.Spinners have performed well in Galle but Philander was hopeful of getting some swing, given the occasional showers.”There is a bit of moisture and overhead conditions around which will favour the swing bowlers,” he said. “We have to wait and see what the deck looks like tomorrow and on the morning of the Test.”Philander was also confident his team would be able to negate the threat of Sri Lanka’s lead spinner Rangana Herath, who has 48 wickets at this ground, the second-highest behind Muttiah Muralitharan (111).”Spin is always a factor when you come to the subcontinent. Boult breaks into top-ten ranking

Fast bowler Trent Boult joined his seam-bowling partner Tim Southee in the list of top ten Test bowlers in ICC’s rankings. Boult, who claimed nine wickets in the series including five in the third Test, climbed two spots to be ninth on the list. He shared six wickets with Southee on the final day of the Barbados Test, helping set-up New Zealand’s first overseas series win against a top-eight country in 12 years. Southee remained at sixth in the rankings.

We want to see James at the top of the order and see how he goes.”In a squad of 15 we need a number of guys that can cover that position and we certainly see that he can do that. He has played 11 ODIs and seven T20s but has only faced 154 deliveries in the two formats. The highest he has batted in ODIs is at No. 6 and according to Hesson, he is “certainly excited about doing it and it’s something he’s certainly got a good skill set for”.”It is something I haven’t done a whole lot of in the past but for this team to win games then you want to have guys like Corey in the middle order, who is a massive asset for us with his bowling as well, so I think it is something that might be looked at in the future,” Neesham told LiveSPORT Radio. “But at the moment I’m quite happy in the middle order”Hesson also added that Neesham’s promotion as an opener had “nothing to do with Test cricket.” In the three Tests, New Zealand’s best opening partnership was just 17. Peter Fulton and Hamish Rutherford, who partnered Tom Latham in the Tests, were both unconvincing.”The opening spot has been a little bit of trouble for New Zealand over the last couple of years and it is one of those things you are always looking for solution and new ways for going about getting a Test victory, so if that in the future is something that will give our team a better balance then it will be something that will be looked at,” Neesham said.New Zealand’s series win was their second in the West Indies, and despite it coinciding with the news of Lou Vincent’s admission of involvement in fixing and a life ban from the ECB, Neesham said it was a “massive feeling” to win overseas.”It’s slightly disappointing [Vincent’s ban]. وتابع: “لم يحدث أن تقدم أي رجل أعمال بالتبرع لنادي الزمالك حتى الآن، أنا أعمل وفق لوائح معينة، وعملية التبرعات لابد أن تتم وفق اجراءات، أهمها إبلاغ الجهات المختصة، حتى يتم السماح بها”.

وأضاف: “نادي الزمالك دفع من خزينته مبلغ 2 مليون جنيه لحل أزمة فريق كرة اليد، وتم دفع 2 مليون آخرين لاتحاد اليد بشكل مباشر وليس للنادي، وذلك عن طريق رجل أعمال مُرشح في انتخابات الزمالك (هاني العتال)”.

وبسؤاله عن سبب إزالة لافتات مرتضى منصور رئيس الزمالك السابق من مقر النادي، قال: “اللجنة الثلاثية هي التي اتخذت هذا القرار، لأن هناك بعض من الأعضاء المرشحين، كانت لديهم رغبة في استغلال تلك اللوحات الموضوع عليها الصور في عملية الدعاية للانتخابات، وفضلت اللجنة الثلاثية وضع شعار النادي عليها، ومرتضى منصور رمز من رموز القلعة البيضاء، وله كل الاحترام ومثله مثل باقي رؤساء النادي السابقين”.

وعن حقيقة تبرع مرتضى منصور بـ 30 مليون جنيه للنادي مثلما صرح في وقتٍ سابق، قال البناني: “عند استلام خزينة النادي، كانت فارغة، إلا من المستحقات التي لدى بعض المحلات التجارية واتحاد الكرة، وسوف يتم تقديم تقرير محاسبي كامل للجمعية العمومية عن كافة الأموال التي استلمتها اللجنة”.

واختتم: “حسم أمر تبرع مرتضى منصور من عدمه هذه مهمة مجلس الإدارة الجديدة، وهو من حقة أن يتصرف في مثل هذه الأمور، وليس لنا في اللجنة الثلاثية أن نتدخل حاليًا، ولكن أؤكد أن الخزينة كانت فارغة”.
