Mayes seals chase as England U19s land consolation victory

Seamers restrict free-flowing India before top-order knock off target with 113 balls to spare

ECB Reporters Network supported by Rothesay07-Jul-2025England U19s ended their Youth ODI series against India on a high with an impressive seven-wicket victory at Visit Worcestershire New Road. The tourists took the series by a 3-2 margin but England deservedly won the final game after an excellent bowling display restricted India’s power-packed batting line-up to 210 for nine. A strong collective effort saw all six bowlers take wickets with Ralphie Albert (two for 24) and Alex French (two for 37) most impressive. Only RS Ambrish (66 not out from 81 balls) passed 40.England then cruised to 211 for three with 113 balls to spare. Ben Mayes (82 not out ,76 balls) and Thomas Rew (49 not out, 37) saw their side home at a canter after Ben Dawkins (66, 53) laid the platform with his third successive score in the sixties. After India chose to bat, England’s rejigged seam attack began superbly with French and Matt Firbank each striking in their first over. Ayush Mhatre’s unproductive series concluded with a careless flick to mid-on off Firbank before French added the big wicket of Vihaan Malhotra. Scorer of a high-class century in the previous game, Malhotra edged a superb delivery to wicketkeeper Rew.Fourteen-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, 322 from 162 balls in the first four games in the series, this time lacked fluency. He hit Firbank for successive sixes but was well-contained apart from that before, on 33 from 42, slicing Sebastian Morgan to deep third.Leicestershire seamer Alex Green maintained the pressure and was rewarded with the wicket of Rahul Kumar, well caught on the long-leg rope by Dawkins. When England turned to spin, Albert soon ousted the dangerous Harvansh Pangalia (24, 37) lbw, sweeping,Albert added the wicket of Kanishk Chouhan, slickly stumped by Rew having been lured down the wicket, and it was left to Ambrish to ensure the innings filled its 50 overs. He did so with a skilful half-century, shepherding the tail.England’s reply took an early hit when Joe Moores bottom-edged a pull at Deepesh Davendra to wicketkeeper Pangalia, but Dawkins and Mayes broke the back of the chase with a stand of 107 in 13 overs. Dawkins batted with increasing authority until, in pursuit of his fourth six, he lifted Naman Pushpak to long-on where Chauhan took an excellent running catch. When Pushpak turned one through the gate of Rocky Flintoff, India had a glimmer of hope, but captain Rew reached the crease with the equation still very favourable to England – 90 needed from 31 overs. Mayes reached his half-century from 48 balls and stayed strong to unfurl an immaculately organised innings while Rew ended the match with a flurry of boundaries against a flagging attack in an unbroken stand of 90 from 73 balls.

Sciver-Brunt out of remainder of T20I series, Bouchier called up

In a blow for England, Nat Sciver-Brunt has been ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing five-match T20I series against India, where England are 2-1 down with two games to go. Maia Bouchier has replaced Sciver-Brunt in the squad, while Tammy Beaumont will continue to lead the side.Sciver-Brunt had initially been ruled out of only the third T20I – which England won under Beaumont’s captaincy on Friday to claw back in the series after defeats in the first two games – but scans have since confirmed that her left-groin injury wouldn’t mend in time for her to take part in the series at all. Making the announcement, the ECB said Sciver-Brunt “is expected to be available for selection” for the three-match ODI series that will follow the T20Is.Sciver-Brunt had led in the first two games, which India won by 97 runs courtesy a Smriti Mandhana century and by 24 runs after 63 each from Jemimah Rodrigues and Amanjot Kaur, and Sciver-Brunt didn’t bowl at all in those two games. That she wouldn’t bowl was decided prior to the series by the team management in a bid to manage her workload, and she contributed with the bat in the first game, where her 42-ball 66 was the only effort of note in England’s 113 all out. She picked up the injury during the second game, where she scored 13.When Beaumont was asked before the third T20I about Sciver-Brunt’s possible availability for the last two games, she had said, “That’s something we don’t know just yet, our medical team are doing all they can. She’s got a scan today, so we’ll know more, but I think it’s in the balance for Manchester. But, whether it’s one game or a couple, I’m just hoping to put my hand up for the team and do the best I can, and will welcome Nat back with open arms whenever she’s fit.”In Sciver-Brunt’s absence, Beaumont led England to victory in what was her first match as captain in her 247th international match. She was chosen to lead England despite Sophia Dunkley being the designated vice-captain because of her greater experience at the highest level. The fourth and fifth T20Is will be played on Wednesday (Manchester) and on Saturday (Birmingham).

Bengaluru stampede: Tribunal observes RCB 'created nuisance' without prior permission

Tribunal says RCB went ahead with the IPL victory celebrations without seeking or getting necessary regulatory permissions

Nagraj Gollapudi01-Jul-2025

Crowds gathered in large numbers for RCB’s victory parade on June 4•PTI

A two-person bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has observed that the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) franchise was “responsible” for the gathering of about “three to five lakh people” outside the M Chinnaswamy stadium on June 4, a day after RCB had won their maiden IPL title.Eleven people died and over 50 were injured as a result of the stampede caused outside Chinnaswamy stadium, after the police did not have any means to control the swelling crowd. The two-person bench of CAT comprising Justice BK Shrivastava and Santosh Mehra said RCB, which is owned by Diageo, had “created nuisance” by going ahead with the IPL victory celebrations without seeking or getting necessary regulatory permissions. The remarks were part of the 29-page order issued on Tuesday by CAT, which was hearing a case filed by Vikash Kumar, Inspector General and Additional Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru (West).Related

Gambhir: No need for roadshows, lives more important

RCB senior official granted interim bail by Karnataka High Court

Vikash, along with four other cops, were suspended by the Karnataka government which alleged “substantial dereliction of duty” and not seeking “guidance” which led to the situation going “out of control, meant a lot of misery, loss of precious life and embarrassment” to the state government. Vikash challenged his suspension, and the CAT quashed the government order saying the top cop should be reinstated. The CAT order stated that neither RCB nor M/S DNA Entertainment Network Private Limited, the franchise’s event management firm, had sought any permission formally to conduct the victory parade at Chinnaswamy stadium, which has been the home base for the team since beginning of the IPL in 2008. To organise any event like that, the CAT pointed out that under the Licensing and Controlling of Assemblies and Public Procession (Bengaluru city) order, 2009, an application has to be made seven days prior (excluding the date of submission and the event). No such application was filed by RCB or DNA. ‘Gathering of immense proportion’The order said that on June 3, the day of the IPL final, Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) chief executive officer Shubhendu Ghosh wrote a letter, on behalf of DNA Network, to the Inspector at Cubbon Park Police Station (adjacent to Chinnaswamy stadium) that in case RCB won the IPL, there would be “potential victory parades” around the ground which would “end with victory celebrations” inside the stadium. The victory parade route was submitted in the same, but no permission was sought. The CAT order said that when the letter was submitted, it was “not certain” RCB would win the final and importantly it did not contain “any request for granting the permission” to organise the victory parade and celebrations.”The organiser did not wait for the response of the Police,” the order said. “At the eleventh hour, they submitted a letter and started the scheduled programme.”The order also put out the sequence of announcements made by RCB on June 4 on the franchise’s various social media handles starting with the “victory parade is scheduled in Bengaluru” post. The first post was put out at 7.01 am, the order said, and at 8 am RCB “posted a link” on their Instagram: “Army, We can’t wait to be back to the Home of Champions and celebrate with all of you today. Details out soon.” At 8.55 am, the same post was issued again, this time accompanied with a statement from Virat Kohli, RCB’s most senior player. The order said at 3.14 pm on June 4, RCB issued another post on all three social media handles saying the victory parade was being held at 5 pm IST the same day and would be followed by celebrations at Chinnaswamy stadium. The CAT pulled up RCB for “unilaterally” putting up information on celebrations without “obtaining the permission” or without the “consent” of the police. While the RCB post advised fans to “follow guidelines set by police and other authorities” so the roadshow would be enjoyed peacefully, it also said there were free passes being issued on the franchise website with a “limited entry” disclaimer. The order said since the post had no information about “disbursement of passes” it “implied” the event was “open to all”.According to the order, the first post (7.01 am) received 16 lakh views, second (8 am) 4.26 lakh views, the third (8.55 am) 7.6 lakhs views while the fourth (3.14 pm) 17 lakh views. The order said all that resulted in the “gathering of immense proportion” with nearly three lakh people gathered around Chinnaswamy Stadium, whose official capacity is 35,000. The order also stated the police machinery was already stretched having had to regulate in the night immediately after RCB’s victory in the IPL final against Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad on June 3.It was hard for the police to control the large number of people who turned up to catch a glimpse of RCB•Associated Press

‘Police are not God or have magic powers’The burden on the cops increased further with the Karnataka government organising a felicitation programme. “Therefore, prima facie it appears that RCB is responsible for the gathering of about three to five lakh people,” the order said. “RCB did not take the appropriate permission or consent from the Police. Suddenly, they posted on social media platforms and as a result of aforesaid information the public were gathered. Because of the shortage of time on 04.06.2025, the Police was unable to do the appropriate arrangements. Sufficient time was not given to the Police. Suddenly, RCB created the aforesaid type of nuisance without any prior permission.”The order defended the police saying cops are also “human beings” and they are “neither God (Bhagwan) nor Magician and also not having the magic powers like “” which was able to fulfil any wish only by rubbing a finger.”CAT is a quasi-judicial body which deals with issues related to government and public servants. RCB itself is not part of the proceedings. The tribunal’s observations will have no bearing on the inquiry set up by the Karnataka government to probe the stampede. The inquiry is being conducted by former High Court Justice Michael da Cunha.

Which Teams Are Playing in the 2024 World Series?

The Yankees and the Dodgers will compete in the 2024 World Series. The Dodges had an MLB best 98–64 regular season record. The Yankees posted a 84–68 regular season record.

Both teams were the No. 1 seeds in the American and National Leagues in the postseason, meaning they had wild-card byes.

The Yankees faced the Kansas City Royals in the ALDS, winning the best-of-five series 3–1 to advance to the ALCS. From there, the Yankees beat the Cleveland Guardians 4–1 to reach the World Series.

The Dodgers played the San Diego Padres in the NLDS, winning a close 3–2 series victory. The Dodgers then faced the red hot New York Mets in the NLCS, capturing a 4–2 series win.

Series Format

The World Series is a best-of-seven series, meaning the victorious team needs to win four games to capture the title.

Even though both the Yankees and the Dodgers were both the No. 1 seeds, the Dodgers had the better regular season record, meaning they get the first home field advantage. The series will be played in Los Angeles for Games 1 and 2, followed by going to New York for Games 3, 4 and 5, if needed. Then, the series would head back to Los Angeles if Games 6 or 7 are needed.

Miguel Rojas Fires Back at Dodgers Fans Blaming Him for Game 3 Loss vs. Padres

Despite making a big blunder, Miguel Rojas does not want to be blamed for the Los Angeles Dodgers' loss to the San Diego Padres in Game 3 of the NLDS.

On Wednesday, Rojas took to Instagram to blast fans blaming him for the team's loss. He hopped into the comments on the account @lajayshow after a video on the account blamed him for the team losing 6–5.

The user complained the shortstop kept a Padres second-inning rally alive by attempting to take a ground ball to second by himself instead of flipping it to second baseman Gavin Lux. Rojas rushed to the base instead and was beaten by Padres center fielder Jackson Merrill. Rojas's throw to first was also late and beaten out by Xander Bogaerts. Instead of a double play, the Padres had first and second with no outs. David Peralta followed with a two-run double, giving San Diego a 3–1 lead.

Rojas jumped in the comments section, replying with the following:

"You think you guys are the only ones who wants to win this sh–, every single one of the players and ppl in this clubhouse are doing everything to f—ing win, it's not bc of the f—ing effort we doing everything possible if that's not enough to you guys I understand all you guys want is a victory after the final out. Nobody in this s— is lost we playing to win not to be the reason for the f—ing L."

He followed that up with another comment:

"Yeah one f—ing mental mistake I wish I would of pass the ball and get one out but my f—ing sorry a– was trying to do everything possible to get two f—ing outs !!! Yeah I f—ed that decision up and you can blame the f—ing reason of the L."

Rojas and the Dodgers are up against it, facing elimination in Game 4 of the NLDS. He is also dealing with an injury to his adductor and had to leave Game 3 as a result. He is out of the lineup for the elimination game, with Tommy Edman replacing him at shortstop.

Southampton manager update now shared on Tonda Eckert and full-time move

A new Southampton manager update has been shared from St Mary’s regarding a full-time move for interim boss Tonda Eckert.

Eckert responds to permanent Southampton job rumours

The Saints made the perfect start to life without Will Still in the week, defeating Queens Park Rangers 2-1 at Loftus Road.

Eckert was the man in charge of Southampton following Still’s exit, with second half goals from Jay Robinson and Leo Scienza lifting them above rivals Portsmouth.

The 3-4-2-1 caretaker is once again set to be on the touchline this weekend prior to the international break as St Mary’s play host to bottom side Sheffield Wednesday. Talking ahead of the game, Eckert was asked if he fancied the Southampton job on a permanent basis, to which he said:

“Look, the answer is very easy on this one. My job is to prepare the game today in the best way possible. My job is to prepare the game on Saturday (8th November) in the best way possible. That’s what all my focus is on. It’s going to be three very important days until Saturday. Then we can all take a breath.

“I think the only thing I can do is give energy and give a structure, and prepare them in the best way possible. We’re going to do the same thing for Saturday and hopefully confirm [the improvement] and then we’ll go into a break and go again.”

Now, a new update has emerged regarding Southampton’s position over Eckert.

How Southampton feel about full-time Tonda Eckert move

According to Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas, Southampton now “consider Eckert a potential candidate for the full-time job” following his winning start in temporary charge.

The 32-year-old’s coaching career has mainly been as an assistant, helping some iconic names such as Patrick Vieira at Genoa and Miroslav Klose at Bayern Munich’s U17 side.

His experience in England came during 18 months as an assistant at Barnsley, with Eckert taking charge of Southampton’s U21s in the summer.

Saints gem Moses Sesay has been impressed under Eckert, saying he is an “experienced” coach who “demands a lot” in training and is “big on detail”.

“I’ve enjoyed working with him. I took some time to get a good connection with him, because he was new, but I really like him. He’s a good coach. He’s very experienced. He demands a lot from us in training, but I like that as a player. He knows what he wants, which is good.

“Comparing Calum McFarlane (former under-21s boss) with Tonda, I think Cal was maybe a little bit more technical, but there hasn’t been much of a difference.

“Tonda is big on detail. He’s a very good coach. We’ve had good results since he came in and went a few games unbeaten. It’s been good under him.”

Positive words indeed, and if Eckert makes it two from two on Saturday, his stock could continue to rise.

Sam Robson overhauls Durham with 169 not out

Opener Sam Robson’s stunning career best 169 not out off 139 balls helped Middlesex chase 388 – the highest ever successful List A run chase in England – to beat Durham by five wickets in a thrilling Metro Bank One Day Cup clash at the Banks Homes Riverside.Durham pair Alex Lees and David Bedingham hit contrasting centuries in their imposing 387 for 4. Having been inserted, it was the county’s highest ever home total in this format.Captain and opener Lees batted through for 138 not out off 132 balls and South African Bedingham blazed 107 off 67 with eight sixes. But it wasn’t enough to prevent a second defeat in four Group B matches.Robson, like Lees, batted with controlled aggression and was the cornerstone of a remarkable chase in perfect batting conditions, achieved in 48 overs. Middlesex won their second game in three to boost hopes of a top-three finish.A handful of counties have posted higher second-innings totals in List A matches, but no one had bettered Worcestershire’s successful pursuit of 377 to beat Leicestershire at New Road in 2018. Until today. Both teams lost a wicket in their first over.New-ball seamer Toby Roland-Jones bowled Emilio Gay for a golden duck with a beauty two balls into a sun-soaked contest. He was the day’s standout bowler with 1 for 43 from 10 overs.Much to the bemusement of representatives from both counties, India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal sat in Durham’s fan zone prior to the game.Leg-side dominant, Lees hit his two sixes over midwicket and wide long-on and shared 141 for the second wicket with in-form Will Rhodes from 1 for 1 in the opening over. Rhodes contributed a well-paced 63.While Lees became the first Durham player to score centuries in the County Championship, T20 Blast and One Day Cup in the same season, Bedingham was much more aggressive – vicious on the pull and down the ground.Lees was on 71 when Bedingham came to the crease, and there was a brief moment when the South African could have reached his hundred first. However, Lees got there off 106 balls, followed by Bedingham’s off 65.Luke Hollman took a superb catch at long-on to help teenaged seamer Jamie Feldman remove Bedingham at 289 for 3 in the 42nd over, though both sides were loose in the field.Colin Ackermann crashed 53 off 27 balls to give Durham the advantage at halfway. However, Middlesex responded in kind en-route to their highest List A total.Joe Cracknell was caught behind down leg pulling at Ben Raine. But, from 2 for 1, Robson and Josh De Caires advanced in dynamic fashion by sharing 120 inside 16 overs. The latter had contributed 63 off 48 balls when he was caught behind reverse sweeping against George Drissell’s off-spin.Middlesex reached 200 for 3 after 28 overs, by which time Durham’s new fast-bowling signing Archie Bailey had uprooted the middle stump of captain Ben Geddes for 24.Former England Test opener Robson, aged 36, was strong on both sides of the wicket without hitting a six until his side neared 300.The right-hander reached his fourth career century off 89 balls, by which time Middlesex were 237 for 3 in the 33rd over. Robson was in the midst of a 114 partnership with Jack Davies. Bailey bowled Davies for 61 off 42, at 280 for 4 in the 37th over, but Robson ploughed on.With 10 overs left, Middlesex needed 78, with Hollman now a helping hand. He contributed 47 to a near match-sealing partnership of 103 with Robson, who hit 19 fours and two sixes to record his county’s second-highest List A individual score.

Bailey declares Weatherald 'in the mix' for Ashes

Weatherald was not picked for Australia A’s tour of India in September, but Bailey said Shield runs would carry more weight ahead of the Ashes

Jake Weatherald will be “well in the mix” for selection in the upcoming Ashes series according to Australia’s chairman of selectors George Bailey despite not being sent on an Australia A tour of India in September where battling incumbent Sam Konstas will be given a chance to further develop his game in different conditions.Weatherald, 30, was the Sheffield Shield’s leading run-scorer last season making 906 runs at 50.33 including three centuries opening the batting in difficult conditions in Hobart. He backed that up with scores of 54 and 183 in two unofficial Tests for Australia A against Sri Lanka A last month in Darwin. For the ‘A’ tour of India, though, Test incumbent Konstas is alongside another Test candidate in Nathan McSweeney and promising 22-year-old Victoria opener Campbell Kellaway.Related

But speaking in Darwin on Thursday ahead of Australia’s opening T20I against South Africa on Sunday, Bailey said the Australia A squad was selected with the 2027 Test tour of India in mind and expects the conditions to have little relevance to the upcoming Ashes. Konstas is among a host of players who will miss the white-ball portion of the A tour in order to return for the start of Shield season where Bailey said the first three rounds will be “critical” for Ashes selection. Bailey declared Weatherald as a player firmly in the mix to open the batting in Perth.”He’s doing a lot of things right, isn’t he?” Bailey said. “His performance last year was awesome. His performance in the Australia A matches was great, too.”So that’s the clear message to him, on the back of talking him through the Australia A selections, the clear focus for him is just to continue that and be consistent.”A lot of selection is potentially being in the right place at the right time. So if he starts the year as he had last year, he’ll be well in the mix.”Konstas, 19, has not been ruled out despite averaging 8.33 in the three Tests in the Caribbean. Bailey said he had spoken to Konstas about the disappointing experience and said the youngster was taking some lessons from the Caribbean. He hoped he would add some more experience in India before returning for the start of the Shield summer.”I think he’s dealing with it well,” Bailey said. “I think he deals with most things pretty well. Him being part of the Australia A series is exactly the same. Any player who’s going somewhere new for the first time, take the performance aspect out of it, you want them to leave with a better understanding of: a) their own game, and b) how to play in in different conditions should they face them again. The chat that I’ve had with Sam since we’ve returned is he’s reflected on that, and he’s put a few things into his training, and he’s launched himself back into getting ready for India and then playing for New South Wales.”Sam Konstas had a tough tour of the Caribbean•Associated Press

Bailey was asked if Konstas scoring centuries in the two Australia A games against India A in Lucknow would carry any weight ahead of the Ashes.”I think there’s some separation there,” Bailey said. “I don’t think the surface of Lucknow is going to be a great read through to what we’re going to get across the summer. Whilst we’d be thrilled to see that, and that’s a really important tool for us and we’re really interested in the performances of players there, there will be some separation. And I do think performing across the start of the summer is going to be important.”Bailey added that discarded Test batter Marnus Labuschagne, who will return in the three ODIs against South Africa in Cairns and Mackay following the T20I series, remains in the conversation for the Ashes.”I think the Test pitches in Australia have been reasonably consistent across the last couple of years,” Bailey said. “So if we expect and are hoping we get something similar to that this year, I think we know that Marnus at his best can certainly perform in those.”Matt Short is still recovering from a side strain•Getty Images

Short ruled out for first two T20IsMeanwhile, Bailey revealed that T20I and ODI offspinning allrounder Matt Short will not be fit for the first two T20Is in Darwin as he continues to recover from the side strain that saw him ruled out of the West Indies series.”I think he’ll be back as a batter, probably by the third T20 here, and on the bowling front, probably later in the one-day series,” Bailey said. There is a squeeze on at the top of the order in both of Australia’s white-ball teams with Travis Head returning after missing the Caribbean series while skipper Mitchell Marsh will return for the ODI series after missing the Champions Trophy where Head and Short opened together in two of Australia’s three games before Short missed the semi-final through injury.Bailey suggested Short could transition successfully into the middle-order much like Mitchell Owen did in his debut series.”We’ve seen Shorty at the top and have some success there,” Bailey said. “It’s reasonably cluttered up there.”I think Shorty has had some experience in the middle. I think that’s a capability that, at different times, will try and grow out.”Bailey also confirmed that veteran allrounder Marcus Stoinis remains in the mix for Australia’s T20 World Cup squad despite missing both the Caribbean and top end series while he plays in the Hundred for Trent Rockets.”I think he remains firmly in the plans because of his skill set,” Bailey said. “Trying to pad out your batting as much as you can, and having those power hitters who can also bowl you some really handy overs, which the guys that got that opportunity in the West Indies, I think we saw how valuable that is. So I don’t think that’s going to diminish. So I imagine once we get closer to picking that squad, that his name will be firmly in the mix.”

"Did he say that?" – Sutton reacts to damaging claim on Rodgers' Celtic future

After watching on as Celtic fell further behind in the Scottish Premiership last weekend, Chris Sutton and Kris Boyd had a lengthy chat about Brendan Rodgers’ future.

Rodgers blasts unacceptable Celtic

The Scottish Premiership champions are beginning to falter under Rodgers. The Bhoys now find themselves as many as five points behind Hearts and Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of Dundee only compiled their misery.

With their European form creeping into their domestic outings, questions will continue to be asked about Celtic’s summer recruitment. Many around Celtic Park were far from confident that club chiefs had done enough in the summer and have since been proved right.

Rodgers, however, took aim at the players that he did have at his disposal against Dundee rather than those that Celtic missed out on in the summer.

The former Leicester City manager told reporters: “I just said that this is where you really have to be a man, because at Celtic it’s great from the outside when you look in and you win in trophies and playing great football, but you’ve got to deal with pressure.

“And also the result and performance today isn’t good enough or acceptable for Celtic. I’ve come here a number of times over a number of years, and that today is not the level, so we have to find it.”

At a time when Rodgers’ future remains so uncertain, the Bhoys’ current form is far from ideal. The manager is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal and one Sky pundit has already delivered a worrying verdict about his time at Celtic.

Sutton reacts to damaging Rodgers claim

Speaking about the future of Celtic’s manager after his side’s defeat against Dundee, Sutton reacted to Boyd’s claim that Rodgers is publicly looking for a Premier League job.

Sutton replied to Boyd’s verdict by asking: “Did he say that?

“I think he took a bit of responsibility there [in his post-match interview]. He said it was his issue to get the team playing better.

“He will point – and I think fairly so – to rotten recruitment.

“You look in the final third for that spark and the players who have left and have they replaced them. I get the argument but should the team be playing better?”

Whether Celtic are in for a repeat remains to be seen, but they must turn their form around with or without their manager. Up next, the Scottish champions play host to SK Sturm Graz in the Europa League, where they’ll hope to pick up the first win of their European campaign.

Then, as if things couldn’t get more difficult, the Bhoys travel to face league leaders Hearts. Lose that and they will be as many as eight points behind the unexpected leaders with plenty of football left to play. Simply put, it is a massive week for Celtic’s season.
